In a tragic incident, a constable of the 6th Assam Police Battalion allegedly ended his life on Friday afternoon by shooting himself with his service rifle. The incident occurred at the Mahadevpur Watch Post, near the India–Bangladesh border under Katigora subdivision in Cachar district of Assam.
