LUCKNOW: In a horrific crime, a man murdered his wife after she came to know about his illicit relationship with her mother. The incident took place in Siddapura village of Kasganj district in Uttar Pradesh. 20-year-old Shivani was killed by her husband, Pramod, after she questioned his dubious relationship with her own mother.

Pramod and Shivani got married in 2018. Shivani came to know about the relationship between her mother and her husband after their private pictures were circulated on social media. This led to frequent fights between the couple. On the day of the murder, the neighbours heard noises of a scuffle but cared not to intervene since fight was an everyday occurrence in the house.

Pramod and his family fled the town after the murder. Shivani's body was found by relatives
