Mangaluru, Oct 11: To commemorate World Menopause Day 2025, the department of obstetrics and gynaecology of KMC Hospital Attavar organized an awareness programme and a free health check-up camp for women on October 11.

The awareness programme was held at the Sushrutha Hall of KMC Hospital Attavar. Dr Sheetal Dinkar Ullal, associate dean, Kasturba Medical College, Mangaluru, graced the occasion as the chief guest and inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. In her address, she congratulated the department of obstetrics and gynaecology for organizing the initiative and emphasized the need to raise awareness about menopause not only among women but also among men, to foster understanding and support.
