WESTFIELD — The Westfield Woman’s Club has a series of events scheduled to close out October.

The Woman’s Club will host an evening of Contra dance on Friday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. The event is the finale of the club’s Sounds of Westfield series of events that has been ongoing during the year. The Sounds of Westfield series was brought to life thanks to a grant the club received from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

“The main focuses of the Sounds of Westfield series has been to not only entertain, but to educate and create an interactive element with every event,” said the club’s Rental Chair Trishadee Newlin.
