Bart Barnes, a Washington Post journalist for five decades, dies at 87

Almost from the very start of his 50-year career at The Washington Post, Bart Barnes found himself bumping up against history. As a cub reporter who had been working at the paper only a month, he was enlisted to help cover the March on Washington in August 1963, tasked with interviewing participants that day in the heat.
