CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- After purchasing a drink at a gas station, a man sat down in a bus shelter. The man did not get to enjoy his drink, as he was soon after attacked by another man he did not know also seated in the shelter.

At 11 a.m. Oct. 1, police were called to the BP gas station at 2785 Mayfield Road. on a report of the assault.

At the scene, officers arrested a 35-year-old man. The victim, 65, told officers that shortly after he took a seat in the shelter, he was asked by the suspect, “What are you looking at?”

The victim replied that he had not looked at the suspect. The suspect, however, responded by punching the victim in the face several times, causing bloody injury.

When the suspect finished punching, he remained seated in the shelter.
