The Metropolitan Police were called to Atherden Road around 1pm yesterday (October 10) to reports of a man who was unresponsive in a parked car.

The police have confirmed he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is not being treated as suspicious at the time.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 12:54pm on Friday, October 10 to Atherden Road, Clapton, following reports of a man who was unresponsive in a parked car.

"Officers and members of the London Ambulance Service attended the scene, where he was sadly pronounced deceased.

"His next of kin have been informed and it is not believed to be suspicious at this time."
