Carlton coach Michael Voss has confirmed he has told Elijah Hollands to explore a trade to another AFL club, saying he is “a little bit disappointed” with the 23-year-old’s off-field situation.

Hollands only joined the Blues ahead of the 2024 season and is under contract for next year.
But after 22 appearances in his maiden campaign he played just five AFL games this season between two bouts of personal leave.
Hollands shared a positive outlook on his future last month but has now learned he needs to look for a new home.
“In that discussion was ‘it’s up to you to be able to look around and find out does another place suit you’,” Voss told SEN on Monday.
