Delhi inaugurated the first of its kind Global Wildlife Fair 2025 to promote eco tourism and spotlight the capital’s rich natural heritage. The three day Global Wildlife Fair being organised by Delhi's Tourism Department, commenced at the Constitution Club of India and will run until October 12. The opening session was graced by Delhi's Minister for Art, Culture and Tourism, Kapil Mishra.

In his address, Mishra said that until now, tourism in Delhi has mostly focused on its historic monuments such as the Red Fort and Qutub Minar. Going forward, the government will shift attention to nature and biodiversity.
