Rescuers from Hope For Paws in Los Angeles, California, witnessed this cruelty firsthand when they received a text alerting them to a dog left behind at a construction site.

Katie and Alex responded immediately. Upon arrival, their hearts sank. The Husky they found was pregnant. The sight deepened their sorrow, but also strengthened their resolve to help this expectant mother and her unborn pups.
