Visa and consular services provider BLS International has been debarred by Ministry of External Affairs from participation in new tenders for next two years.

The company said the order for debarment has been issued on account of allegations, including court cases and complaints made by applicants.

“The debarment shall not affect the existing contracts and (these) shall continue as per existing terms,” it said in a stock exchange notification on Saturday. It added that the order is being evaluated and the company will take appropriate action in due course as per law.
