This morning spotty showers are moving throughout the metro area and counties in western New Mexico. This morning lows have dipped into the lower 60s and upper 50s in and around Albuquerque with cloudier skies. Today, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to move through New Mexico and southern Colorado. This line of showers and storms may bring heavy rainfall to western and central counties across the state. A Flood Watch for excessive rainfall is currently place, that was issued from the National Weather Service, for San Juan, McKinley, Montezuma and La Plata counties. Another Flood Watch will be issued this afternoon and last through Sunday morning for Grant, Hidalgo and a portion of Sierra County.
