The Illinois Fighting Illini will face their biggest test of the season Saturday as they welcome the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes to Champaign.
Illinois, ranked No. 17 in the country after winning consecutive Big Ten games against USC and Purdue, is aiming to snap a nine-game losing streak against the Buckeyes, who have retained the Illibuck Trophy since the 2007 season.
That game of course was one of the most famous in Illinois history, as Juice Williams and company shocked the No. 1 Buckeyes by a score of 28-21 in Columbus.
The Illini ultimately reached the Rose Bowl in that season, and if they can find a way past the top team in the country on Saturday, they could very well be on their way to a College Football Playoff berth.
