COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - One person is dead after police say a car hit a house in Colorado Springs.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers received a call at 11:45 p.m. on Friday about the crash near Uintah Street and 22nd Street.

Officers responded and found the driver of the vehicle dead at the scene. None of the residents inside the house was injured.

Due to the nature of the crash, CSPD’s Major Crash Team responded and is leading the investigation.

Police did not share whether they believe speed or impairment was a factor in the crash.
