A man who forbade his bed-bound girlfriend from using the toilet for five days has been imprisoned. Jack Preston, 29, subjected his disabled partner to up to 120 hours of discomfort by hiding the toilet paper and instructing her to ''hold it in". ‌

When she was finally permitted to use the bathroom, the ordeal reportedly left her ''paralysed'' for an hour due to a sudden spike in her heart rate. She eventually dialled 999 from her bed, pleading for assistance and describing Preston as someone whose ''brain snaps very quickly". ‌
