A longtime Cashion resident says his dream to bring new life to the town through a rodeo arena is facing resistance from city leaders.
Bruce Temple has called Cashion home for 30 years. He’s now working to transform eight acres of open land into a professional rodeo complex — complete with an arena and community grounds.
“We have been working on this for five years. It’s been a long process of getting the land purchased and going through what we are going to do and how we are going to do it,” Temple said.
Temple says the project could attract visitors, boost local businesses, and give the community something to be proud of.
