MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The McAllen Halloween Festival is returning with a night of 'spooktacular' family fun this weekend.

This year's event will feature a costume contest, vendors, live entertainment, and plenty of Halloween treats.

The event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Westside Park, located at 1000 S. Ware Rd.
