Heidelberg Police Chief Cornell White said two people were killed on the school’s campus Friday night during homecoming weekend.

The Heidelberg Oilers were playing their homecoming football game on Friday night.

What we don't know:

It wasn’t known yet exactly when the shooting happened or how close it was to game time or the stadium. It also wasn’t known yet if the victims were students.

Police were also waiting to release more information about the suspected shooter.

"Right now we’ve still got a subject at large, but I can’t give specifics," White said Saturday morning.
