One-time IU coach Lee Corso made his last headgear pick on ESPN's college football pregame show in the season's first week, but "GameDay's" visit to Bloomington last year was partly why the athletic department brought back a mascot. Though there hasn't been a headgear pick since, Hoosier was proudly behind the TV set along with IU cheerleaders.
