BEE CAVE, Texas — An 11-year-old girl who went missing in Bee Cave has been found safe and well, police said on Saturday morning.

Earlier Saturday, an AMBER Alert was issued for Penelope Hernandez. Her mother had reported her missing around 1 a.m. on Saturday after calls to her cellphone went unanswered.

Just before 12 p.m. Saturday, the Bee Cave Police Department reported Penelope was found.
