ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - After an overnight fire at Fort Imagination Park near the Abilene Zoo, many locals gathered to survey the damage and reflect on fond memories.

Imagine taking your children to play on their favorite playground and discovering all that remained was a smoldering pile of ash. The iconic Fort Imagination Park, located near the Abilene Zoo, sparked genuine happiness in the hearts of thousands of children over many years.
