PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers could look to elevate cornerback Beanie Bishop for the team’s game against the Cleveland Browns if Jalen Ramsey is not going to be ready to play.
Ramsey is questionable to play with a hamstring injury, but logged a full practice on Friday. That could signal he might play, but Bishop is ready to go if the Steelers need to call him up from the practice squad.
“I always prepare to play, even if I don’t. We’re having guys get called up every week, just seeing guys around the league. I stay ready. You never know when your name will be called," Bishop said after practice Friday.
Bishop does not yet know if he will be needed. That comes on Saturday when the Steelers make their final determinations for what they might need on gameday. However, Bish
