Ian Watkins, 48, who was the lead singer of the band Lostprophets, has been killed in prison. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was serving at 29-year sentence time for multiple sexual offences against children.

He was previously attacked in 2023, but suffered non-life threatening injuries.
