He became known for his portrayal of the ‘angry young man’ in the 1970s, delivering memorable performances in classics like "Don" and "Sholay." After a brief career slump in the 1990s, he made a remarkable comeback in 2000 as the host of "Kaun Banega Crorepati," transitioning into mature roles in films such as "Black," "Paa," and "Pink." His ability to reinvent himself over five decades has solidified his status as one of Indian cinema's most enduring legends.
