The suspect in a SWAT standoff that led to the death of a Chattanooga Police Department K9 last month has been arrested.

Montreal Murrell, 32, is accused of assaulting his girlfriend, pointing a gun at her, and not allowing her to leave his home in the 3300 block of 4th Avenue on Monday, Sept. 15, according to an affidavit obtained by Local 3 News.
