MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- A multi-vehicle crash left multiple people, including a child, injured in Gaithersburg on Saturday, officials said.

David Pazos with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service said crews responded to the crash at the intersection of S. Frederick Avenue and S. Westland Drive at around 10:30 a.m.

Pictures of the scene shared by MCFRS show a pickup truck crashed into a pole, with its air bags deployed and the bed of the truck destroyed.
