STONEFORT — A man was arrested for setting fire to a woman’s home after collaboration from the Illinois State Fire Marshal’s Office, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and Saline County Sheriff’s Office, the WCSO announced Saturday.

According to the WCSO, at 1:59 p.m., Oct. 8, surveillance captured Jeffrey A. Glover arriving at the victim’s home, 303 Poplar Street, on a bicycle. After walking around the property, he left at 2:05 p.m. and returned six minutes later carrying a backpack, the WCSO said. At 2:14 p.m., he disabled one of the cameras by cutting its power supply and was not seen again.
