MANHATTAN — Kansas State football's disappointing season desperately needs some feel-good when it hosts TCU for its annual homecoming game this week.

Kansas State (2-4, 1-2 Big 12) will host TCU (4-1, 1-1 Big 12) on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 2:30 p.m. at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan.

The Wildcats enter the game having blown a two-touchdown lead in the fourth quarter at Baylor, only to lose 35-34 to the Bears in Waco. Their lone Big 12 victory came on Sept. 27 when the Wildcats won 34-20 over UCF in Manhattan. Kansas State has lost its four games by a combined 13 points.

TCU features one of the most explosive offenses in the country , led by quarterback Josh Hoover, which led the Horned Frogs to a 35-21 win over Colorado last week. Their lone loss of the season came on Sept.
