WASHINGTON CITY, Utah (ABC4) -- Fire crews rescued one person and their dog trapped in their vehicle amid flooding in Washington City, Utah, Friday night, according to the Washington City Fire Dept.

"Last night our crews responded to a vehicle trapped in floodwaters, rescuing one person and their dog," Washington City Fire posted on Facebook. "A reminder of how quickly conditions can change, especially when hurricane remnants bring heavy rain to our area. Thankfully, there were no injuries. Stay safe and stay alert."
