CLINCHCO, Va. (WJHL) — A woman was arrested in the Clinchco area of Dickenson County Saturday after she allegedly stabbed a man, leaving him with life-threatening injuries, according to Sheriff Jeremy Fleming.

Fleming told News Channel 11 that the alleged stabbing was reported Saturday near the 100 block of Clinchco Main Street. Upon arrival, deputies located a man outside of a residence with a stab wound to his abdomen, according to Fleming.

The man was airlifted to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, Fleming told News Channel 11.

A female suspect, whom Fleming identified as Randi Moore, 34, was taken into custody at the scene. She was charged with aggravated malicious wounding and attempted murder, Fleming said.
