President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed bringing an end to Russia’s invasion during a phone call Saturday — with the US arming Kyiv with Tomahawk missiles seeming increasingly likely.

The two leaders discussed Tomahawks and air defense systems during the phone call, Axios reported .

“I had a call with US President Donald Trump — a very positive and productive one,” Zelensky wrote on X Saturday . 4

“We discussed opportunities to bolster our air defense, as well as concrete agreements that we are working on to ensure this. There are good options and solid ideas on how to truly strengthen us.”

“I received the necessary signals that the US is considering ways to strengthen our cooperation. We are grateful for this,” he added in another post .
