New York Rangers forward Vincent Trocheck is considered week-to-week with an upper-body injury, the team announced Saturday.

Trocheck appeared to sustain the injury during the first period of New York’s 4-0 victory over the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday. He did not return to the bench during the second period and also failed to participate in Saturday’s morning skate.

Trocheck, 32, has notched one assist in two games this season.

He has played in all 82 games in each of his previous three seasons and 81 in the prior campaign.

Trocheck has totaled 579 points (223 goals, 356 assists) in 803 career games with the Florida Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes and Rangers.
