HEMINGWAY — Carvers Bay off ensive linemen Zyon Guiles and Triston Diggs had 46 pancake blocks through the first seven games. How can Bears coach Matthew Richard not stay with the theme while talking about them?

"When they're each averaging 5-6 pancakes a game, you've got to bring your syrup," Richard quipped.

It had been a balanced serving as Guiles and Diggs had each delivered 23 pancakes for SCHSL Class A's fifth-ranked Bears.

Guiles, a senior and University of South Carolina commit who Rivals rated as the country's top interior off ensive lineman, stands at 6 feet 5 and 280 pounds. And Richard said Triston, a 6-2/275 junior, has started to receive off ers.
