PITTSBURGH — The Mika Zibanejad wing operation has been put on hold amid news that Vincent Trocheck will be unavailable to the Rangers for the foreseeable future.

Trocheck is considered week-to-week with an upper-body injury, the team announced, after the second-line center exited in the second period of Friday night’s shutout win in Buffalo .

The loss is a considerable blow to a Blueshirts lineup that is already thin down the middle.
