Meet Lightning Bug! This precious brindle baby is searching for a family willing to work on building her confidence and social skills. Bug was surrendered to us at the end of August. She's slowly been getting used to the shelter environment and staff; however, she's still quite nervous with new people and places. She only knew one home for the first year of her life. She grew up with her mom and the few humans she knew but unfortunately didn't get out to socialize as a puppy. Despite being shut down and unsure on intake, she was tolerant of all handling and care done by our intake staff. She has not been introduced to cats yet but enjoys the company of other dogs.
