Alabama keeps finding new ways to use Kadyn Proctor.

The most recent time on Saturday against Missouri, the big man was at quarterback.

On third-and-1, the 6-foot-7, 360-pound left tackle lined up in shotgun. He took the snap and rumbled ahead for two yards and the first down.

That set Alabama up on the 1-yard line, but the Crimson Tide couldn’t capitalize. Alabama had to settle for a field goal that gave it the 20-17 lead late in the third quarter.

Proctor has gotten the ball at least once in every SEC game this year. At first, he caught a lateral and ran for 11 yards and the first down against Georgia. Then against Vanderbilt, Proctor lined up at fullback and took a carry for a first down on third down.
