CUMMING, Ga. — Several people were trapped following a multiple-vehicle accident that shut down Georgia 400 in Forsyth County on Saturday afternoon.

The wreck happened just before Exit 15 on 400 north, according to an official with Forsyth County.

Cumming Police said that officers responded to a two-car wreck with serious injuries between Mary Alice Bridge and Bald Ridge. They found that a Ford F-150 rear-ended a Kia SUV, causing the Kia to overturn in the middle of Georgia 400 north.

Both the driver and passenger inside the Kia suffered head injuries and were life-flighted to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the F-150 suffered only minor injuries, police said. Credit: Provided
