JACKSONVILLE—The Seahawks downgraded cornerback Riq Woolen from doubtful to out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, the result of a concussion suffered in last week's game.
Cornerback Shaquill Griffin and safety Jerrick Reed II elevated from the practice squad as well. Griffin gives the Seahawks needed cornerback help with Woolen out and with cornerback Devon Witherspoon listed as doubtful due to a knee injury. Reed provides safety depth with starter Julian Love doubtful due to a hamstring injury.
This will be Griffin's second game this season, having also appeared in Seattle's Week 2 win in Pittsburgh. A 2017 third-round pick and former Pro-Bowl selection, Griffin spent his first four seasons with the Seahawks before signing with the Jaguars as a free agent in 2021. After two seasons
