MANASOTA KEY, Fla. (WWSB) - Thousands are expected to return to the annual Englewood Beach Waterfest this year, after the event took a hiatus following Hurricane Milton.
“Englewood Beach is back open for business” said Doug Izzo Englewood’s Chamber of Commerce (COC) executive director.
The Englewood COC says they’re expecting over 30,000 people over the weekend.
Izzo said, “Hopefully we have even more this year. You know, there’s some pent up demand because we didn’t have it last year.”
The Waterfest will feature high-speed powerboat races, a variety of unique vendors, and other family-friendly festivities throughout the weekend.
