COLUMBIA, MO. − Alabama football nipped Missouri 27-24 on Saturday, Oct. 11, without it's most dynamic offensive player, wide receiver Ryan Williams, touching the ball even once.
The sophomore who caught six passes for 98 yards and a touchdown against Vanderbilt the previous weekend was listed as probable on the Crimson Tide 's official injury report throughout the practice week, although his condition wasn't addressed by UA coach Kalen DeBoer until after the Missouri game. He played sparingly against the Tigers, and quarterback Ty Simpson never threw a pass his way.
"Just something that carried over from last week's game, earlier in the game (against Vanderbilt). He took a hit and was hobbled," DeBoer said. "He didn't get to practice as much this week, which is why he was on the (in
