NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- The Maine Black Bears extended their winning streak to three games in a wild, down to the wire finish against the Merrimack Warriors.

With five minutes remaining in the first quarter, the Black Bears were on the goal line and Carter Peevy handed it off to Nick Laughlin who powered through for the score, giving Maine a 7-0 lead.

But just as quickly, the Warriors got into Black Bear territory, and quarterback Ayden Pereira launched a ball over the middle that was caught by Seth Sweitzer, who ran it all the way into the endzone to tie the game.
