ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The City of Ellensburg Street Division will start construction on October 13 on the alley between Main Street/Water Street from Washington Avenue to Capitol Avenue.

The division plans to reconstruct the alleyway and says that the project will take several weeks to complete.

The project will cause occasional closures in the alley to allow teams to remove existing pavement, perform utility work and work on the upgrade. The alley will be fully closed when teams start to repave.

The City of Ellensburg will coordinate with Waste Management to avoid interrupting garbage service, wrote the division.
