LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Metro Councilman Ken Herndon invited community members out Saturday morning to discuss the future of California Park with neighborhood residents.

Voices & Visions focused on creating conversations about how to improve California Park.

Herndon and Jason Canuel, the director of parks and recreation, wanted to hear from members of the neighborhood and the surrounding community to gauge what enhancements could be made to better serve the community.

Young people were encouraged to attend the event to offer insight into what they would like to see in the park’s future.
