As a trade war between Canada and the U.S. flared this spring, Greg Durrell was all in on the push to steer clear of our neighbours to the south.
He was buying Canadian. He was definitely avoiding travel to the U.S. But that was before the Toronto Blue Jays embarked on a deep playoff run that will bring them to Seattle to face the Mariners this week — just a few hours’ drive from his home in Vancouver.
“The power of sports supersedes that, man,” Durrell said. “We’ve got to support our team.”
