KAMSACK — Arbutus Holiday, which is an acoustic duo, was at Eaglestone Lodge in Kamsack on Oct. 8 playing a mix of folk, indie and rock music.

Donna Hansen and her partner Evan Symons have toured across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba over the last month, stopping to play at various venues, including the lodge in Kamsack.

Based at Texada Island, which is the largest of the Gulf Islands in British Columbia, and part of B.C.'s Sunshine Coast, Hanson said they are “just two people writing and playing songs.”

She had reached out to Eaglestone Lodge this summer to book a date to play for the residents.
