COLUMBIA, Mo. — Ty Simpson looked at Alabama football's stat sheet after the Crimson Tide's 27-24 win against Missouri, a top-15 SEC road victory , and shook his head. He wasn't happy, and he began to list why.

"Too many sacks," Simpson said, audibly sighing as he turned each page. "Didn't throw the ball great. Not a good average yards per play. We held the ball a lot longer than they did.

"Not very clean."

Simpson was visibly frustrated. Hours earlier, after his fumble on his very first touch of the third quarter, he couldn't be.
