MOORESVILLE — The Bloomington South boys soccer team repeated as sectional champs, but not much was the same as it was last year.
Tons of seniors graduated. Long-time assistant and ex-Panther Jake Kabrick took over as head coach, as familiar as anyone with the new varsity starters moving up. But the season ending injury to all-stater Tom Henry Berry forced a makeover in the middle of the season.
Through it all, they made it work, blasting host Mooresville 7-0 in the Class 3A sectional on a sunny Saturday afternoon on Oct. 11.
