FORKSVILLE, Pa. — It's not every day you can watch someone carve a sculpture from a tree in real-time or axe their way through a piece of wood in a matter of seconds. In Sullivan County it's a yearly tradition.

In its 44th year, the Lumberjack and Chainsaw Fall Festival at the Sullivan County Fairgrounds sees thousands of people from near and far arrive to watch woodcarvers like Kevin Treat from Lake Winola create masterpieces in just 8 hours. "We have the opportunity to make it into one big thing. I decided to split it up into several pieces and do a scene," says Treat.
