AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Students at Paine College are preparing for their annual Christmas play.

Rehearsals are now underway for “A Thankful Christmas Carol.”

The play tells the story of a Christmas carol, but with a twist.

This is the third year that mass communication students have put on a play for the community.

It’s in an effort to raise money for student scholarships.

Bob Ross paintings to be auctioned to support public TV stations after federal funding cuts

Thirty paintings created by the bushy-haired, soft-spoken Bob Ross will soon be up for auction to support public television stations.
