EUGENE, Ore. — Indiana football quarterback Fernando Mendoza and Elijah Sarratt connected for a touchdown with 6:23 to go at Autzen Stadium that helped them pull off an historic 30-20 win over Oregon on Saturday.

Mendoza recovered after throwing a pick-six with 12:42 that allowed Oregon to tie the game. Mendoza launched the ball off his back foot with pressure coming up the middle and badly under threw E.J. Williams Jr. It was an easy interception for Brandon Finney, who managed to dance his way through traffic for the score.
